I got in touch with Master Aircon for a replacement of my ducted zone controller. They were courteous over the phone and sent through multiple quotes for various solutions within a few hours.
After I gave the go-ahead for one of the solutions, they booked me in the same day and completed the installation just two business days later. The technician who came out did a tidy and professional job, and everything is working perfectly.
I’m really impressed with these guys. It can be hard to find good quality service and I’d happily recommend them to anyone.

I asked Master Aircon to come and repair an air conditioner I had fitted by another aircon company on the Gold Coast that was still under warranty. They were there for 30 min and found the leak in the system and also updated and programed the control panel. they returned within 7day and replaced a large part in the roof under warranty and the aircon works better than ever. I had these guys installed my ducted air conditioner and they were amazing. Any time I have needed something done with the air con they were on to it very quickly and happy to help out. Just before Christmas last year the insulation foam around a pipe had worn away and the condensation was dripping off the pipe in the roof and we had some black mould appear because of this. I called them to come out and get it fixed and they squeezed me in, in their most busy period to get it done before Christmas. Now I was meant to get a report sent to me about the repairs after to send to my insurance to finish getting the hallway painted and claim finalised. I was calling and waiting until February to have this done and it still hadn’t been done and my insurance was going to close my claim becaise i hadnt sent in any documentation. Out of frustration I sent an email with all the details explaining how disappointed I was at 10pm Sunday night and by 8am Monday morning I had Drew the owner of Master air conditioning call me personally because he had seen my email. He apologised profusely and was disgusted that his staff had not completed this for me back in December. Drew then offered to get my hallway stain blocked and painted with mould proof paint and he would wear the cost so I wouldn’t have to get it done through insurance and pay my excess. Drew the emailed me all the document with photos and videos of the work done and had organised his guy to come around to do the work that day. Drew was so lovely and I am so happy with how my complaint was handled. I will definitely continue to use Master aircon in future. I highly recommend their work and management of complaints. Thank you again Drew for handling my complaint so promptly and being so generous.

Professional service completed to a high standard in a difficult installation in a townhouse with strict body corporate requirements. I initially contacted them as they have installed air conditioning in other townhouses in my complex and the owners were also happy with them. One of the few companies to supply and install air conditioning for difficult installations, most I called declined. Drew is the Managing Director of Master Aircon, but he “will have to call you back”. Qualified in refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering, Drew started Master Aircon in 2009, previously called “Mr Aircon”. His phone has rang 7 times in writing this paragraph.

Mark is the Installation manager and although his knees might be old, his mind is willing and capable. He once used Ian’s pliers to cut hardened wire and has never lived it down.

Peter is highly experienced in all types of air-conditioning and heads up the projects division with Darren to complete quality commercial and residential projects across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Darren

Point man in the projects department is Darren. You’ll find him crack’n the whip, organising deliveries, managinbg staff and making sure deadlines are met on commercial sites all over SEQ.

Michael

Wade is our experienced commercial installer, proficient in highrise air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation. You will find him spread across multiple worksites over Gold Coast and Brisbane and is your first onsite point of contact for commercial installations.

Jacob

Jacob is Master Aircon’s newest qualified trademan with an eye for quality Ducted and Split System installations. Jacob is another member of Team Milwaukee but Team Makita and Master Aircon are inclusive and don’t hold that against him.

Jayden

Jayden is a first year apprentice coming to Master Aircon in the beginning of 2022. With early experience in airconditioning in the Lockyer Valley, Jayden is fast assimilating to Gold Coast life and Master Aircon’s fast paced industry.

James

James is set to join the Master AIrcon team in January 2026 and will begin installing residential and builders air-conditioners. James comes to us highly experienced in all things air-conditioning, including commercial installations and mechanical ventilation.

Joao

New Apprentice Joao joined our installation ranks in 2023 and when teamed with Jayden, is an unstoppable force. Joao has a black belt in hard work and fast becoming an aircon ninja!

Bruno

Along with Joao, Bruno is joining Master Aircon in 2024 and fast becoming a reliable and integral part of our skilled installation teams. Before long, Bruno will be up to speed with all types of AC installation.

Jesse

New apprentice Jesse is keen to learn and also to keep the tradesman on their toes. His wit is the only thing quicker than Joao’s punches, and is coincidentally the same height as Drew and Trevor stacked head to toe. No ladders are required, saving time and money on installations.
