Drew is the Managing Director of Master Aircon, but he “will have to call you back”. Qualified in refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering, Drew started Master Aircon in 2009, previously called “Mr Aircon”. His phone has rang 7 times in writing this paragraph.

Mark is the Installation manager and although his knees might be old, his mind is willing and capable. He once used Ian’s pliers to cut hardened wire and has never lived it down.

Peter is highly experienced in all types of air-conditioning and heads up the projects division with Darren to complete quality commercial and residential projects across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Point man in the projects department is Darren. You’ll find him crack’n the whip, organising deliveries, managing staff and making sure deadlines are met on commercial sites all over SEQ.

The service team starts 2026 fresh with new faces like Ryan H. Ryan will be joining Michael and Matt on breakdown, maintenance and warranty jobs throughout SEQ.

Wade is our experienced commercial installer, proficient in highrise air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation. You will find him spread across multiple worksites over Gold Coast and Brisbane and is your first onsite point of contact for commercial installations.

Jacob is Master Aircon’s newest qualified trademan with an eye for quality Ducted and Split System installations. Jacob is another member of Team Milwaukee but Team Makita and Master Aircon are inclusive and don’t hold that against him.

Jayden is a first year apprentice coming to Master Aircon in the beginning of 2022. With early experience in airconditioning in the Lockyer Valley, Jayden is fast assimilating to Gold Coast life and Master Aircon’s fast paced industry.

James is set to join the Master AIrcon team in January 2026 and will begin installing residential and builders air-conditioners. James comes to us highly experienced in all things air-conditioning, including commercial installations and mechanical ventilation.

New Apprentice Joao joined our installation ranks in 2023 and when teamed with Jayden, is an unstoppable force. Joao has a black belt in hard work and fast becoming an aircon ninja!

Along with Joao, Bruno is joining Master Aircon in 2024 and fast becoming a reliable and integral part of our skilled installation teams. Before long, Bruno will be up to speed with all types of AC installation.

New apprentice Jesse is keen to learn and also to keep the tradesman on their toes. His wit is the only thing quicker than Joao’s punches, and is coincidentally the same height as Drew and Trevor stacked head to toe. No ladders are required, saving time and money on installations.

Kurtis has traded the chilly Scottish weather for Queensland sunshine and a career keeping homes cool. Now part of our Residential Installation Team, he brings plenty of skill, a sharp eye for detail, and just the right amount of Can-do to any job. Whether he’s installing a new system or making sure everything is running perfectly, Kurtis gets the job done properly.

Pat is a vital member of our Commercial Installation Team and one of the people we trust to keep the big jobs running cool, calm and collected. With a knack for tackling everything from complex installations to the occasional “that wasn’t in the plans” moment, Pat brings plenty of experience, a practical approach and a can-do attitude to every site — because when you’re working on commercial systems, there’s no room for hot air… unless it’s coming out of the wrong vent.

With years of experience under his belt, Jamie is a qualified member of our Commercial Installation Team and knows his way around an air conditioner better than most people know their own thermostat. He’s tackled more commercial installations than he cares to count and has the experience to handle whatever a job throws his way. Basically, when Jamie says he’s got it under control, you can turn the fan down and relax.

Nick is the Batman of our Commercial Installation Team — although instead of patrolling Gotham, you’ll find him on-site getting stuck into whatever needs doing. With a background in fabrication and mechanics, there’s not much Nick can’t build, fix, lift, weld or somehow make work. He brings serious practical know-how to the team and is usually the man called in when a job needs a bit of creative thinking and a lot of getting-it-done. No fancy gadgets, no cape required — just a tool belt, plenty of experience and an uncanny ability to appear whenever there’s a problem

Toby is the fresh-faced apprentice of our Residential Installation Team — still finding his feet, but learning faster than Bambi on his first day in the forest. Always ready with a laugh, a question, or the occasional “how does this bit work?”, Toby brings plenty of energy and good humour to the crew. He’s picking up the trade one install at a time and, while he might be the new kid on the tools, he’s already proving that fresh legs, a good attitude and a sense of humour go a long way. Give him a few years and he’ll be the one teaching the next Bambi.

Jack is one of the young guns in our Residential Installation Team, bringing previous air conditioning experience and plenty of enthusiasm to the tools. As an apprentice, he’s learning the trade the right way — although he’s arguably spent more time learning how to make a Holden sound like a V8 than how to keep it quiet! Young, keen and already handy on the tools, Jack is well on his way to becoming a top-notch tradie — provided someone can convince him that not everything needs a loud exhaust.

Lucas is the newest addition to our Residential Installation Team and our latest apprentice to join the ranks. He’s keen, eager to learn and already getting stuck into the trade — although we’re still working on getting him fully acquainted with the fine art of driving a manual and reversing a trailer. With plenty of enthusiasm, a good attitude and a lot to learn, Lucas is off to a great start. Give him time, a few more clutch pedals and enough trailer practice, and he’ll be a fully-fledged tradie in no time.
